Drink of the Day: Southern Bride

Friday is already here!  Amazing how fast the work week goes when you have Monday off.  Now, we are here to get back into the weekend.  To compliment the ease of the work week, I am introducing a very easy, yet full of flavor cocktail to get Friday night started on the right note.  For all of you gin imbibers out there, this one I think you’re going to enjoy.

Maraschino liqueur is becoming one of my favorite ingredients due to its aromatic characteristics.  Combining this with the gin and grapefruit in this cocktail gives you a drink that seems more complicated than it really is.  And the ease of making it makes it even more enjoyable.  Especially when you don’t want to work any harder than you have to.  This one will only take you less than a minute to prepare.

Hope you have a great weekend.  Cheers!
