We are just in the bowels of winter and I am already done with it. Nothing like waking up every morning to frozen car doors and ice on the windows. I need a tropical reminder today; something that will get me away from the thought of the frigid days and even colder nights. I’ve got just the cure for those winter time blues. For those of you who are feeling my pain, you won’t want to miss out on this excursion.
The Tequila Canyon is filled with tropical fruit flavor that will have you asking yourself if you’ve forgotten to add the booze to the mix. But, don’t let the flavor full you; it is definitely in there and will be ready to give you all that you can ask for if you drink it down like it tastes, which is refreshingly smooth! Three fruit juices to go along with some triple sec is enough of a back story for this tequila beverage. Heck, you may even think about getting some island shorts out for this excursion. Just be sure to stay inside the confines of a nice and comfortable home when doing so.
1 1/2 oz. Tequila Blanco
3/4 oz. Triple Sec
1 oz. Cranberry Juice
Method: Build this in a highball glass filled with ice by first pouring in the first three ingredients to measure. Top off the drink by pouring in equal parts of orange juice and pineapple juice, (if you are using a bigger glass, be sure to add double the cranberry versus the other two juices). Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass.
