Happy Hump Day! Hope everyone is enjoying their mid-week.
Here is a great and easy rum beverage that not only has a great name, it has a lot of flavor and will become a good go-to for those who don’t want to take too much time putting together a drink. Just building this in a highball glass and a quick stir is all you are going to have to do to have yourself a refreshing fruit beverage that you will see yourself going back to time and again. This is the perfect companion while working on the tan at poolside.
If you are familiar with the Hairy Navel, this is similar. Just replace the vodka with spiced rum. Adding the orange curacao is only to enhance the orange juice, so you can even keep it out if you’d like. No matter which way you like it, your taste buds will be dancing with enjoyment on every tantalizing sip.
We are now halfway to the weekend. Here’s a summertime treat that you can enjoy while resting up after a long day at work. Cheers!
1 oz. Spiced Rum
1/2 oz. Peach Schnapps
Splash of Orange Curacao (optional)
Method: Build this in a highball glass with ice by pouring in the first three ingredients to measure. Top off with orange juice. Stir and serve.
