The Citadel, Military College of South Carolina, was established in 1842 and has prided itself on keeping to its core values and strict dicipline. Up until this day in 1997, it was an all-male school. The courts ruled in favor for allowing women cadets to enter the school if they met the standards of the school. It would be a sad day on this day back in 1985 when U.S. Route 66 was decommisioned by the United States Highway Service. Due to the Interstate Highway System being erected, US Routes such as this one became obsolete. To save money, many of the US Routes would have the same fate. The combination of the melon and schnapps is surprisingly smooth and the flavor was not as complicated as I expected.
