To keep with the shot theme for the third consecutive day, I found one that is rather interesting. It’s a flaming shot by design, but you don’t need to have it that way. The combination of the melon and schnapps is surprisingly smooth and the flavor was not as complicated as I expected. To make this a drink that you don’t have to light, just delete the 151 rum completely from the recipe.

Kryptonite Shooter
3/4 oz. Melon Liqueur (Midori)
1/2 oz. Rumpleminze
1/2 oz. Goldschlager
151 Rum

Method: In a port glass, pour in everything but the 151 rum. Then slowly put the 151 on top of the drink, so it floats on the drink itself. Ignite the shot. CAUTION!!!! Be sure to blow out the flame before drinking the shot.
