Amaretto Sour is April 12th Drink of the Day!!

There are many “sour” drinks out there, but this one is definitely king. The sweet and sour combination is a favorite with the people who really could care less about tasting that main ingredient, which in this case is the amaretto. Another nice thing about this drink is that the alcohol content is very low. If you want to mingle, but not feel the effects, when being prodded to join in on the festivies, then this would be the drink for you.

This is an easy one for you to try out, but will become one of the favorites of the party once the first one is made. Be sure to stock up on the amaretto for the next party.

Amaretto Sour

1 1/2 oz. Amaretto

Sour Mix

Splash of Orange Juice

Method: Build this is an old fashioned glass filled with ice. Pour in the measured amount of amaretto. Pour in the sour mix and add a splash of orange juice for good measure. Cap off and shake a couple times and pour back into the old fashioned glass. Garnish with a couple maraschino cherries.
