Say you are hosting a party, want to enjoy in the festivities, yet want to keep it at a low volume. Well, if you like it sweet and at the same time keep the liquor content to a minimum, I have just the Drink of the Day for you today.

The Berry Patch cocktail is not one that will get you where you want to be in a hurry. It’s perfect for those who want to take it a little easy on the booze, yet imbibe and enjoy a great alcoholic beverage. Plus, remember it’s still Thursday. You still have one more day to go before kicking off the long three-day weekend.

Berry Patch Cocktail

1 1/2 oz. Raspberry Liqueur (either the 80 proof or lower proof to take it a little easy)

Cranberry Juice

Orange Juice

Method: Build this in a high ball glass filled with ice, by first pouring in the measured amount of raspberry liqueur. Add equal parts of the juices to top it off. Stir. Add a quarter wheel of orange on the rim of the glass to dress it up.
