The Black Martini is March 9th Drink of the Day!!

March 9, 2014 | By | Add a Comment

A nice blend of three ingredients, all containing liquor content, this cocktail will taste shockingly smooth when made properly. A vodka based cocktail, the color of this in itself will be the start of some conversation while mingling with friends before the feast. Be sure to only sip this due to the kick this will have. You must stop the urge to want to guzzle this down due to this.

The blackish color is created when adding the combination of blue curacao and raspberry liqueur to the vodka base. A beautiful cocktail when adding a twist of lemon for dressing. I hope you find this drink as enjoyable as I did. Cheers!

Black Martini

2 oz. Vodka

1 oz. Raspberry Liqueur

1/2 oz. Blue Curacao

Method: In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour in all the ingredients to measure. Cap off with a tin and shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Take a rind of lemon and twist it over the cocktail, allowing the oils from the peel to disperse over the drink. Gently rub the twist on the rim of the glass before dropping it into the cocktail.
