Buttered Popcorn is July 16th Drink of the Day!!

Everybody has heard or has seen the name Orville Redenbacher. You have seen him on TV ads, on the supermarket shelves, on marketing campaigns for his product. Mr. Redenbacher is one of the largest unpopped popcorn brands in America. On this date in 1907, this entrepreneur and farmer was born.

To celebrate this day, I’d like to introduce to you a drink I found that was first put together by Aricka Johnson of Sedalia, Missouri. The blend of these ingredients is quite amazing and you can either enjoy this as a shooter or a chilled cocktail. I will be showing you how to construct it in the latter form. A perfect after dinner cocktail that will be a nice end to a great meal.

Buttered Popcorn
1 oz. Irish Cream
3/4 oz. Butterscotch Schnapps
1/2 oz. Hazelnut Liqueur
1/2 oz. Amaretto

Method: Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake well, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
