One great thing about making cocktails is that anything goes. You should look at each of the bottles of your liquor cabinet as individual ingredients that you can create your favorite beverages for your next party, just like you would when you are making any food dish with the ingredients you have in your kitchen cabinets. I am hoping that these Drinks of the Day are giving you some ideas of your own.

With any cocktail you find in any recipe book, someone had an idea and took the time to put it on paper. Most of the cocktails that you see on this blog are drinks that have been put in these books. Yes, I do come up with a cocktail on occasion for the Drink of the Day. But, what I hope to do is show you some of the mixed drinks some talented people have made through the years, dating as far back as the early 1800s, all the way to present day. This will give you the foundation to find the right combinations for new drink ideas.

Okay, now to introduce today’s drink. It was made up with some common ingredients that you will find in most bars. If made to the right measurements, you will have a nice refreshing beverage that you can enjoy anytime. Cheers!bye bye
