The Co-Pilot is January 24th Drink of the Day!!
This is a cocktail that I came up with using some liqueurs I have just acquired. The aromatic characteristics of these was hard to resist, and with the resurrection of the classic Aviator Cocktail, I felt I could add yet another flavor to it to enhance their presence in the drink even more. The slight hint of vanilla and citrus, then adding vodka instead of gin proved worthy enough for me to make this today’s drink of the day. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
To go back on the vanilla flavor, I lightened it up by adding vodka with no flavoring. I didn’t want to go overboard with this flavor. When making drinks with overpowering aromas, it is important to find balance.
