A good Saturday morning to you all! Hard to believe it’s already the last day of January. Man, is time going fast. Today is also the day before the Super Bowl and for those of you who host parties, you will be busy getting together the necessary food and beverages required for the big event. I chose today’s Drink of the Day for you. Once you get done with the chores needed to ensure a successful party, you will need to wind down. This will be the perfect cocktail for you to tone down and get yourself a good night’s rest.

A very simple cocktail to prepare, it gives you all out comfort with it’s creamy texture. That on top of the chocolate flavor will assist you in getting in rest mode, and give you a tasty beverage at the same time. A perfect pre-slumber refresher. Put your slippers on, kick back, and enjoy the ride.

Bailey’s Comet

3/4 oz. Bailey’s Irish Cream

1/2 oz. Light Creme de Cacao

1/2 oz. Vodka

1/2 oz. Half and Half

Soda Water

Method: Pour the first four ingredients, to measure, in a mixing glass with ice. Cap and shake to blend. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice. Top off with soda water. Stir and serve.
