Drink of the Day: Brandy Alexander

November 26, 2014 | By | Add a Comment

Usually I would be talking about Wednesday being hump day. But, due to Thanksgiving being tomorrow, this is pretty much the end of the work week for most. I have found another nice after-dinner cocktail for you to try out for your guests.

This is a classic, one that has been around since the 1920s and is still quite popular today. Brandy, Creme de Cacao, and cream equals a very tasty beverage that will be perfect to introduce after a hearty Thanksgiving feast. Add a little grated nutmeg and you have a drink that will fit the season and get you going on the right path to prepare you for the holidays that are just around the corner.

I will be taking a break from the drink of the day tomorrow. Please, be safe and enjoy your day with friends and family tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving everybody! Cheers!
