Drink of the Day: Cold Kiss
Good Monday, everyone. Hope your weekend was time filled with family and friends; or maybe a time to just stay away from everyone and charge up those batteries. No matter how it went, it’s now time to get back into the everyday grind.
Here’s a nice and easy one for you today. A soothing whiskey beverage that gives you a blend of chocolate and peppermint to take some of the bite out of the spirit itself, yet keeps the flavor of it up front so you don’t forget what you’re drinking. A true imbibers delight and a great way to get the week started off on a good note.
This Drink of the Day is a perfect day-ender. So, take off the work shoes, slip into something a little more comfortable, kick your feet up and forget about the events of the day. Enjoy!
1 1/2 oz. Whiskey
1/2 oz. Peppermint Schnapps
1/4 oz. Creme de Cacao
Method: Build this in an old fashioned glass filled with ice by pouring in all the ingredients to measure. Stir and serve.
