Drink of the Day: Colorado Mother

December 11, 2014 | By | Add a Comment

If you are into combination cocktails, ones that bring together different types of spirits to give you a flavor like no other, you will love this Drink of the Day. A word to the wise: Be sure to keep this to probably only one cocktail, because this is one that is not for the weak. You will be getting all you can ask for with this combination in regards to liquor content. In fact, you may be safe in setting up a Designated Driver prior to venturing down this path. Okay, I’ve given you the warning. Now, let’s talk about this delicious drink.

The best way to describe this cocktail is that it uses all the white liquors that you would find in your typical well setup, just like the Long Island. Add coffee liqueur and cream to this and you have yourself one strong, but very tasty, cream beverage. It will only take one to get you where you want to be. A perfect Thursday evening knock-out punch. You may even want to wait until tomorrow to get into one of these.

Have a great day, my friends. I can’t believe we are only two weeks away from Christmas and three weeks away from 2015. Man, this year went way too fast. This should slow it down a bit. Cheers!
