Drink of the Day: Creme Italiano

I had the opportunity to try a great orange liqueur and I wanted to share it with you by coming up with a cocktail to use it with. Now, I must tell you that I had a very hard time coming up with cocktails for this because I enjoyed it so much by itself. I have always been a Grand Marnier fan but, after tasting this, I am going to go this route from here on out.

Borducan is an orange liqueur that has been made in Italy since 1872, is based with sugar beets and not cognac or brandy, so the orange flavor really comes through nicely. A very smooth and warming flavor that is perfect neat with a side of your favorite hot beverage. A great end-of-day treat that will put you in total relaxation. I want to thank the owner, Andrea Schiavi for introducing to me this fine cordial.

Today’s Drink of the Day is a nice combination of four liqueurs that blend very well together. A great dessert treat for those who want to put a nice exclamation point on a fine evening. Time to get a fire started and put some slippers on. This will truly get you in the mood to do absolutely nothing but relax and fall into a deep euphoric rest. Enjoy!!
