Drink of the Day: El Nino

How about a nice and sweet beverage for your Tuesday. Vodka shares the stage with peach schnapps to give it a nice foundation. The fruit juices and soda gives you a refreshing beverage to enjoy anytime. Plus, the blue curacao enhances it with it’s color, giving you a nice conversation piece at your next party. A perfect summertime treat!

Let’s make my intro to this a little short and sweet today by just saying that this is a great quencher for you if your not looking to get too carried away. Busy with flavor, this Drink of the Day will satisfy those with a sweet tooth. Enjoy!

 

El Nino

3/4 oz. Vodka

3/4 oz. Peach Schnapps

1/2 oz. Blue Curacao

1 1/2 oz. Orange Juice

1 1/2 oz. Pineapple Juice

Soda Water

 

Method: In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour in all the ingredients to measure except the soda water. Cap off with a tin and shake to blend the ingredients. Strain into a tulip glass filled with ice. Top off with soda. Garnish with a lemon half-wheel on the rim of the glass.
