Drink of the Day: Green Apple Tequini

October 21, 2014 | By | Add a Comment

This is the time of year when I start thinking about some apple pie with a nice hot cup of coffee for the last course of any meal. In case you want to take a shortcut and drink your dessert, here’s something you may have some interest in.

A nice combination of apple and melon flavors to go along with the natural flavor of tequila is a great compliment to one another. Plus, it’s something a little different. Who says you need vodka to give you a nice up, fruity beverage to finish your meal off with?

Put the fork away folks. It won’t be needed for this meal ender. Cheers!

Green Apple Tequini

1 1/2 oz. Tequila Blanco

3/4 oz. Sour Apple Liqueur

1/2 oz. Melon Liqueur

Juice of 1/2 Lime

Method: Add all the ingredients to measure in a mixing glass filled with ice. Cap with a tin and shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garish with two maraschino cherries.
