Drink of the Day: La Bomba
Let’s keep the spirit of the day tequila, for those of you who need a hair of the dog after the festivities during National Tequila Day yesterday. This is one that hides the bite of the booze rather nicely, giving you a variety of juice flavors and a rimmer of sugar to put an exclamation point on it. Perfect for those who find themselves poolside this afternoon. The Drink of the Day today will get you back to normal after overdoing it the night before. Time to get the raft out. This is a day to relax and enjoy the season.

Granulated Sugar
1 1/2 oz. Tequila Blanco
3/4 oz. Triple Sec
1 oz. Orange Juice
1 oz. Pineapple Juice
Splash of Grenadine
Method: Before getting into making the cocktail, take the cocktail glass that will be your finish glass and whet the rim of the glass with a lime. Rim the glass with granulated sugar by dipping the wet rim into a saucer with the granulated sugar. Set the glass off to the side. In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour in the ingredients to measure. Cap with a tin and shake well. Strain into the sugar - rimmed cocktail glass.
