Drink of the Day: Orcabessa

December 30, 2014 | By | Add a Comment

Good morning! Hope everyone is getting some rest before we party in the New Year. Only have one night of relaxation left before that happens. Make sure you get your rest tonight, so you can enjoy the festivities tomorrow.

I was trying to figure out the last time I put a vodka cocktail up. It has been a while. So, for nothing more than to do just that, here is a nice and tasty cocktail I think you will enjoy. The cool thing about this drink is that the secondary ingredients do nothing but take a little bite out of the liquor, but not enough to take away from it existing in the beverage. Plus, it is surprisingly refreshing.

Another short blog, so we can get right into the drink itself. Enjoy your Tuesday!

Orcabessa

1 oz. Vodka

1 oz. Peach Schnapps

Splash Sour Mix

Splash Orange Juice

Method: Place all ingredients to measure in a mixing glass with ice. Cap with a tin and shake well. Strain into an old fashioned glass filled with ice. Garnish with an orange quarter-wheel on the rim of the glass.
