We are just hours away from shutting the week off from all the hustle and bustle. Time to relax, enjoy you and forget about all the chaos that goes along with the five-day week. Here’s the perfect cocktail to help you on your way to a nice and care-free weekend.

A rum and brandy combination with a little help from some other ingredients, this is a very soothing and tasty cocktail you will have no problem taking the time putting together once you get the opportunity to have your first one. The fresh lemon on raspberry notes that compliment these liquors will be more than pleasing to your taste buds.

The Pacifist Cocktail

1 oz. Light Rum

3/4 oz. Brandy

1/2 oz. Raspberry Liqueur

Juice of 1/2 Lemon

1/2 oz. Simple Syrup

Method: In a mixing glass filled with ice, place all the ingredients in to measure. Cap off with a tin and shake to blend the ingredients. Strain into an old fashioned glass with ice. Take a lemon peel and twist it over the glass to allow the oils from the rind to disperse onto the cocktail. Rub it very gently on the rim of the glass before dropping it into the drink.
