Drink of the Day: Seaboard

September 15, 2014 | By | 2 Comments

Here’s a nice way to start your week off on the right note. A whiskey and gin combination that blends in some fresh citrus and a little simple syrup to diminish the rough edges and gives you a nice and smooth finished product. This could make a good drink to quaff after that long and productive beginning to your work week. The mint sprig used as a garnish gives it some great aromatic character that puts the icing on an already great beverage.

Hope you all have a great week. Cheers!

Seaboard

1 oz. Gin

1 oz. Canadian Whisky

Juice from 1/2 Lemon

1/2 oz. Simple Syrup

1 Sprig of mint for garnish.

Method: In a mixing glass filled with ice, put in all the ingredients to measure. Cap with a tin and shake well. Strain into an old fashioned glass filled with ice. Add a sprig of mint to garnish the drink.
