Drink of the Day: Sonic Blaster
Here’s a cocktail for those of you who do not want to taste the liquor in their cocktail; a very fruity and refreshing cocktail for a warm summer’s day. A great combination of banana liqueur with other fruit juices to give you a true tiki beverage you can enjoy while outdoors, this rum cocktail will give you that punch flavor without the bite of the spirit.
So, it may be time to grill some burgers on the grill and sip on this tropical treat while doing so. What other excuse do you need? Cheers!
1/2 oz. Vodka
1/2 oz. White Rum
1/2 oz. Creme de Banana
1 oz. Cranberry Juice
1 oz. Orange Juice
1 oz. Cranberry Juice
Method: In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour in the contents to measure. Cap and shake enough just to blend the ingredients. Strain into a highball glass with ice. Garnish with a half-wheel of orange and a half-wheel of lime.
