Drink of the Day: Southern Raspberry Tart

Nothing like a good summertime cocktail that is based with whiskey and complimented with fruit flavors. Mixed the right way and you don’t even know you’re having a beverage that consists of mostly liquor. The Drink of the Day today is a great example of what I’m talking about. Just be sure to watch your p’s and q’s when imbibing on these while enjoying the summer heat.

A perfect combination of Tennessee whiskey, raspberry liqueur, and Southern Comfort, with some citrus flavor added, gives you a drink that will quench you throughout the day. A perfect poolside treat that will be a great go-to for you whiskey drinkers out there.

 

Southern Raspberry Tart

3/4 oz. Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey

3/4 oz. Southern Comfort

3/4 oz. Chambord

Juice of one Lemon

Lemon-Lime Soda

 

Method: In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour in the first three ingredients to measure. Squeeze in the juice of one lemon. Cap off with a tin and shake to blend. Strain into a tulip glass filled with ice. Top off with lemon - lime soda. Garnish with an orange wedge.
