Drink of the Day: Vicious Sid
With a short week ahead, I felt it safe to introduce this one today. However, you may want to wait until it gets closer to the weekend before trying it. A nice a well-rounded beverage that is a perfect cocktail hour drink, one that will be sure to satisfy for those who like a nice sipping rum mixer.
I’ll keep this short and sweet today. Here is your Drink of the Day. An interesting combination I am certain you will enjoy imbibing after a long day. Enjoy the short work week.
1 1/2 oz. White Rum
1/2 oz. Triple Sec
1/2 oz. Southern Comfort
Juice of half Lemon
2 -3 Dashes of Aromatic Bitters
Method: In a mixing glass filled with ice, add everything to measure except the bitters. Shake to mix. Strain into a old fashioned glass with ice. Take a lemon rind and twist it over the drink, allowing the oils from the rind to disperse onto the drink. Rub the twist gently on the rim before putting it into the drink. Add a couple dashes of bitters. Stir and serve.
