Drink of the Day: Blue Note Cocktail
Well, we have survived another Monday and are just about to get into the thick of the week. It seems to be much more tolerable with the feeling of Spring in the air. We are just a couple weeks away from the buds on the trees to turn into different shades of green here in the Mid-West. This time of year, my friends, is what keeps me here. Nothing like the changing of seasons.
As majestic as the floral colors and cool springtime breezes are, I wanted to introduce you to a cocktail that deserves as much fanfare; not only for its all-around flavor, but also for it’s visual presence. The nice hue of blue will be a great conversation piece as you mingle with friends and acquaintances. Who says you can’t read a book by it’s cover?
As Carl Friedrich Gauss once said, “Life stands before me like an eternal spring with new and brilliant colors”, this vibrantly colorful beverage is a nice stamp for what is about to come to us.
Or as the well - missed Robin Williams once said, “Spring is nature’s way of saying, ‘Let’s Party!” Well, I couldn’t have said it better myself.
So, enjoy the rest of the week and enjoy yourself, by treating yourself to one of these majestic cocktails. Cheers!
