July 29, 2015 | By | Add a Comment

The summer is in mid-swing, with the heat of the day already here this early in the morning. Here in the MidWest, I am fortunate enough to see it go from one extreme to the other through the year. Now, we are having the hottest week of the summer. After one of the coldest winters on record, I am not here to complain by any means. But, you must keep yourself cool somehow and I am here to help you do just that.

Even you whisky lovers out there like to have something refreshing to imbibe on during these dog days of summer. It’s a bonus doing so using your favorite spirit as a base, so you can enjoy its attributes, even on the hottest of days this time of season. Here is a cocktail that you should at least appreciate to keep the temperature at a tolerable rate. After a couple of these, who cares anyway.

Today would be a great day for a dip at your favorite water park. How about something refreshing to keep you company? Here’s keeping you hydrated, my friends! Cheers!

3/4 oz. Peach Schnapps
