Drink of the Day: Creamsickle
We are in the heart of this weekend’s festivities and many of you are celebrating this Memorial Day Weekend, which is known as the kick-off to summer, with cookouts and time with family and friends. For all you who are hosting these gatherings, one knows that it is best to keep your wits, so you can orchestrate a nice event. This Drink of the Day is for you.
This cocktail is meant more to be a refresher and sipper. If you are familiar with the cream sickle dessert treat that was a go-to when we were kids, you will be familiar with the flavor of this beverage. A citrusy and nutty drink that, when fresh ingredients are used, is full of thirst-quenching flavor. The bonus for those of you maestros putting together your parties is that it is low on alcohol content and you can enjoy sipping this without worrying about getting too carried away.
Let’s remember those who have sacrificed their lives to keep our lives safe. This weekend is our salute to them. Without their heroics and great deeds for this country, we wouldn’t be able to enjoy this and every weekend with the ones we love. Enjoy your holiday weekend and give a toast to those who put their country first, so we can feel safe everyday.
Enjoy your loved ones this long weekend! Cheers!
