Drink of the Day: Emerald Isle Cocktail
A good Thursday to you.
We are getting ever closer to the big day next week. Today’s cocktail, with it’s color, will leave no doubt what you’re celebrating. This is something you may want to have as a nightcap.
If you are into minty cocktails and a fan of gin, this will surely satisfy. The Emerald Isle Cocktail is one hearty beverage, so one will probably suffice. Adding a couple of dashes of bitters does a bit of good blending the other ingredients. The lemon twist gives it the added aromatic properties and shares the stage well, even tones down, the fragrance of the Creme de Menthe.
On another note, while I’m remembering, be sure to check out our new “Drink Dictionary” section of the site. By the end of the year, we will have over 10,000 cocktails to look up. Also by the end of the year, we will select the top 1000 looked up cocktails on the internet and have an option to look at a video on the preparation of the drink. These videos will all be less than 45 seconds long. In other words, they will not be the same videos you see that are part of the Drink of the Day. This section will eventually turn into an app that you can get with any of your mobile devices. I am very excited about this and hope this help you find every cocktail you are looking for and give you the comfort in knowing that you can prepare it yourself.
Hope your day is full of good deeds and enjoyable moments. Cheers!
