Drink of the Day: Flash Gordon

March 28, 2015 | By | Add a Comment

Since we went on the deep end on yesterday’s cocktail, I wanted to make today’s drink a simple one to make. If you’re a gin enthusiast, this is one I think you will enjoy.

The wash used in this mixed drink is lemon-lime soda. Using the melon liqueur makes this cocktail quite sweet on its own. So, to tone it down, feel free to use club soda in place of the lemon-lime. Either way, you will have yourself a simple to make and refreshing beverage.

Enjoy your Saturday. Cheers!

Flash Gordon

1 1/2 oz. Gin

1/2 oz. Melon Liqueur

Lemon - Lime Soda or Club Soda for a less sweet mixed drink

Method: Build this in a highball glass filled with ice by first adding the first two ingredients to measure. Top off with lemon - lime soda or club soda. Garnish with a lemon and lime half-wheel.
