Drink of the Day: French Martini

February 27, 2015 | By | Add a Comment

Another week for the record books, now it’s time to get prepared for the weekend. This classic will be a perfect kick-off and will get you started on the right foot.

A nice and sweet vodka cocktail that combines pineapple and raspberry to give you a very smooth drink. A perfect after-dinner treat that you may want to have seconds of. Vodka is such a great foundation for drinks because it allows you to expose the other ingredient’s flavors, yet still gives you the potency. However, I must stress that this cocktail will not seem as strong as it actually is due to this. So, be careful and try not to imbibe on this too quickly.

Enjoy your Friday. Cheers!12-17-french martini

French Martini

1 1/2 oz. Vodka

3/4 oz. Chambord

Method: In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour all the ingredients in to measure. Strain into a nicely chilled cocktail glass. Take a lemon peel and twist it over the drink. Rub the twist gently on the rim of the glass before dropping it in.
