Drink of the Day: Gin Aloha
Good morning and happy Hump Day! We have reached mid-week and are getting ever closer to the weekend.
Some cocktails are meant to be enjoyed during a beautiful summer day, and this would be one of them. Gin and triple sec share the stage in this beverage, with pineapple juice and orange bitters playing an important role in rounding out the edges to give you a very refreshing sipper. Aloha indeed!
You don’t have to visit Hawaii to enjoy this tropical treat. Just close your eyes as the glass reaches your lips and the flavor will take you there. Enjoy!
1 1/4 oz. Gin
1 1/4 oz. Triple Sec
3/4 oz. Pineapple Juice
2 - 3 Dashes of Orange Bitters
Method: Combine all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice. Cap and shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Take a twist of orange and rub it gently on the rim of the glass, before dropping it into the cocktail.
