Drink of the Day: Huntsman Cocktail
A fine Saturday morning to you!
Since it is a day of getting some of the home chores done, and knowing that you have much better things to do than stare at your computer all day, I am going to make this brief. I am also going to share with you a nice treat that you can enjoy sipping after your fun-filled day is done.
How about a rum and vodka combination, with just enough lime juice and simple syrup to take the edge off, yet gives you enough of the flavor of liquor to know that it’s there. A true, well-balanced, beverage that you can treat yourself to as you prepare for a quiet evening; away from those everyday worries.
Hope you enjoy your day. Be sure to give yourself an award for all of your hard work through the week. Cheers!
1 1/2 oz. Vodka
3/4 oz. Amber Rum
1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
1/2 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
Method: Combine all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice. Cap and shake well. Strain into a nicely chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a half-wheel of lime.
