Drink of the Day: Imperial Fizz

April 2, 2015 | By | Add a Comment

Today’s cocktail shows why it doesn’t hurt to share the stage with another liquor. In this case, rum and bourbon are introduced, and you will be surprised on how well they tend to compliment one another to give you a nice finished product. The sweetness of both really come out well. Their flavors tend to pop out well when the secondary ingredients are brought into play.

A generous serving of fresh lemon to go along with the simple syrup gives you the notes, while the soda tickles your nose with every sip. A fine cocktail hour sipper that is light and refreshing enough to enjoy before dinner.

Have a great Thursday, everyone!
