Drink of the Day: Irish Car Bomb
To keep with the time of the year, continuing with the Irish theme until St. Patrick’s Day, I am going to introduce you to a beer drop shooter that is well known for the occasion.
I must stress that one of these should be sufficient for us amateurs out there. Just be sure to hand the keys over to one of your teetotaler friends when you decide to partake. This drink will take you down in a hurry. I thought that it being Friday will give you ample time to get back to normal for the work week next week.
Please, have fun but be responsible when imbibing at all times. Especially when you are enjoying drinks like this. It’s fun to enjoy, but more satisfying knowing that you set yourself up for a great evening by finding a ride home that will keep it a positive night. Now, the way you feel in the morning I can’t promise you.
Enjoy the weekend and enjoy living. Cheers!
Irish Car Bomb
6 oz. Irish Stout
3/4 oz. Irish Whiskey
3/4 oz. Irish Cream
Method: Pour the stout into a pint glass, about halfway. In a shot glass, pour equal amounts of Irish whiskey and Irish Cream. Take the shot glass and drop it into the beer. Shoot the beer and shot combination, being sure to be careful not to chip a tooth as the shot glass comes up from the bottom of the pint glass.
