Drink of the Day: Nutcracker Cocktail
Another winter day, another below-zero morning. Hard to believe we are less than a week away at entering the month of March. On the bright side, we could be having this discussion in October and have the whole winter to tolerate this type of cold. But, alas, we are just a short time away from having temperatures in the seventies. …CAN”T WAIT!
Here’s a nice and comforting cocktail for you, fitting for the winter evenings. A nice blend of coconut rum and cognac, with a generous dose of lemon and pineapple, combines some summertime ingredients with a winter staple. I am showing the recipe of the Nutcracker with what is called for on the lemons. If you want to tone down the citrus, cut it down to the juice of one lemon.
Going to keep this short and sweet today. Have a great Tuesday and stay warm. Hopefully, this drink will get you in the right frame of mind.
