Drink of the Day: Peach Slider

Sundays usually mean a day to unwind and be around family. It also means a nice hearty brunch for those who like to treat themselves to a well-rounded, hearty meal late in the morning or early afternoon. I sure do like Sunday brunches! And, what’s a brunch without a little alcohol to help digest all that great food?!

When alcoholic beverages are involved, they usually are in the form of champagne-type drinks like Mimosas and Kir Royales. However, there are some sweet beverages you may want to try to be a little different when hosting your next soiree. Or just give people another choice when it comes to having a cocktail.

Here is a tasty sweet and creamy drink that would be a great final course for this, or any, meal. No need for a fork for this dessert.

Peach Slider

1 oz. Peach Schnapps

1/2 oz. Amaretto

3/4 oz. Vanilla infused Vodka

1/2 oz. Light Cream

 

Method: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Cap with a tin and shake to blend the ingredients. Strain into an old fashioned glass filled with ice.
