Drink of the Day: Peanut Butter Cup

July 21, 2015 | By | Add a Comment

As I was getting a quick cup of coffee from the convenient store this morning, my eyes came across my favorite treat, and I was forced to grab a packet to enjoy with my first cup of joe. The combination of peanut butter and chocolate combination is pure heaven as far as my tastebuds are concerned. In fact, if I were to ever diet, this is one of those sinful temptations that wouldn’t be banned from my eating agenda.

Whoever came up with Reece’s Peanut Butter cups deserves to be knighted. An unbelievable treat that will always be my weakness. Heck, there are many other habits I can have that would be much worse. So, why not indulge in something that will give me that one moment of heightened pleasure?

For these thoughts rambling away, I remembered a cocktail that has the flavor of this irresistible candy. A chocolate and nut cream beverage that is a great after-dinner treat. One that will put an exclamation on a great meal and even better day. Just be careful not to enjoy too many. This cocktail will go down quite smoothly.

May your day be full of enlightenment and sinful pleasures such as this! Have one or two for me! Cheers!

3/4 oz. Light Creme de Cacao
