Drink of the Day: Robin’s Nest
We have just had the last major holiday until Independence Day, and we are now in full swing with Spring. In the next week or so, we will begin seeing the buds on the trees blossom into leaves and the flowers start to sprout out from their winter slumber. Yes! No more sub-zero temperatures and scraping the snow off the windows of the car. Can you tell I’m a little psyched?
One other signs of Spring is seeing the first robin of the season, which I just did a couple days ago. I have a perfect cocktail to celebrate this and to share with you.
You will be amazed on the ease of preparing this cocktail. Plus, the flavor of it will make this one of your all-time favorite go-to’s when you want to make yourself up a nice and quick drink. The chocolate and cranberry flavor is incredible.
I prepared this cocktail and finished it “up” in a chilled cocktail glass. However, you can also prepare it by building it in a double rocks (old fashioned), glass. I will leave this up to you. The video will show you how to prepare it up.
Have a great start to your week. Cheers!
2 oz. Vodka
1 oz. White Creme de Cacao
1 1/2 oz. Cranberry Juice
Method: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Cap with a tin and shake well. Strain into a nicely chilled cocktail glass.
