Drink of the Day: Rum Relaxer

What a perfect name for a Drink of the Day today, it being Saturday and all. This will surely put you in the right frame of mind to enjoy the weekend. It is time to turn off the thinking cap for a couple days and refuel. With that being said, one should not have to labor to much on their day off to have a nice and refreshing beverage.

This is a an easy-to-make rum cocktail that tastes like much more goes into preparing it. It will take less than 30 seconds to have something other than your everyday rum and coke. It makes imbibing it that much more gratifying.

Rum Relaxer

1 1/2 oz. Light Rum

1 oz. Pineapple Juice

Splash Grenadine

Lemon Lime Soda

 

Method: Build this in a highball glass with ice by first pouring in the first three ingredients to measure. Top off with lemon lime soda. Stir. Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass.
