Drink of the Day: Sam-Tini

May 19, 2015 | By | Add a Comment

Good day to all! Hope yours is getting off to the right start.

I have a nice and easy one for you. Yet, you wouldn’t know it with the flavor combination. It’s visual appearance isn’t bad either. A beautiful hue of blue to go along with a nice aroma and even better flavor. This cocktail is one of my favorite when I’m in the mood to sip and enjoy every essence it brings to the party.

Sambuca is a great compliment to the vodka and blue curacao. Don’t get carried away and add too much to the overall drink. One must have just enough to experience this beverage and all the other properties it has to offer. Overdoing this ingredient will only override and hinder their qualities and what they bring to the table.

I wish you an adventurous and exciting day! Cheers!

Sam-Tinisam-tini 1

2 oz. Vodka

Splash Sambuca

Splash Blue Curacao

Method: Combine all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice. Cap and shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Take a rind of orange and twist it over the cocktail, allowing the oils from the rind to disperse onto the drink. Gently rub the orange on the rim of the glass before dropping into the cocktail.
