Drink of the Day: School House Cocktail
I am fortunate to be working in a bar that has sixty taps, which gives us the luxury of having a variety of beers. We have twenty taps that are considered beers that will never come off our list. The rest are up for grabs. The great thing about this is that I get to try many different style beers and our selection never gets old. Plus, you have to have this mindset when dealing with the micro beers. Some are available only short periods of time throughout the year. You have to have an open tap, on occasion, to allow some of these fine beers to present themselves.
Sometimes, beer just isn’t enough and you want to expand your palate, yet you do not really want to go the route of a mixed drink or a shot. Today, I will introduce to you a beer cocktail that you can try. The type of beer you use will be completely up to you, depending on your taste, so I will keep this ingredient generic. There is no best beer for everyone. That’s why we have a variety, isn’t it?
This is a very simple drink to prepare. Think of this as a shandy with benefits.
Enjoy your day and stay out of the cold while sipping on one of these. Cheers!
