Drink of the Day: Schoolhouse Cocktail
If you are into the summer shandys, this is right up your alley. A very simple to prepare beer cocktail for those who want a little more in their beer.
In this recipe, I use an American Pilsner-style beer. However, use what you want to fit the taste you are looking for. I will say that the flavor notes of the finished cocktail will change dramatically with the decision. Sounds like a good problem to have.
Enjoy your weekend. Cheers!
Between 1/2 and 3/4 Pint of Beer (your choice)
3 oz. Orange Juice
1 1/2 oz. Amaretto
Method: Pour between 1/2 pint to 3/4 pint of beer into a pint glass, preferably chilled but not necessary. Add the orange juice and amaretto. Gently stir. Add an orange half-wheel on the rim of the glass to dress it up.
