Drink of the Day: Surf Rider

May 14, 2015 | By | Add a Comment

Here’s a cocktail that I love to share because it uses an ingredient people tend to disregard using when thinking up combinations. Sweet vermouth is a great mixer for more than your typical Manhattan and Rob Roy. Yet, for some reason, this ingredient is hardly even a second thought when putting together recipes. Once you try this drink, I am hoping it opens your minds to some other opportunities.

Sweet vermouth tends to seamlessly combine the other ingredients to where you have a very soothing and refreshing beverage. The citrus notes in this, helped along with a little grenadine, gives you a fantastic poolside cocktail sipper.

Let’s keep the blog short and sweet today and move right along with the preparation. Hope your Thursday is a brilliant one. Cheers!
