Drink of the Day: The Liquefied Ghost

October 20, 2015 | By | Add a Comment

To keep with the seasonal drinks, here is another cocktail brought to us by Crissa Vallen, a colleague of mine at Twiisted. She has come up with six Halloween-themed treats and I am going to share each one of them with you as we venture through the week.

This cocktail is our best seller to date. A creamy and surprisingly refreshing drink that seems to be the fan favorite as we venture through the month of October at our bar. I will let you be the judge. How can you go wrong with a vanilla vodka/rumchata combination anyway? Adding a little chocolate powder to enhance it’s attractiveness wasn’t a bad decision by any means.

Enjoy your Tuesday, and enhance it, with this Halloween treat! Scary good!!!

Liquefied Ghost

2 oz. Vanilla Vodka

1 oz. Simple Syrup

1/2 oz. Rumchata

1 oz. Light Cream

Splash of Soda Water

Sprinkle of powdered cocoa for garnish

Method: Combine all ingredients, (yes, even the soda water), into a mixing glass with ice. Cap with a tin and shake well. Strain into a nicely chilled cocktail glass. Add a sprinkle of cocoa powder to the top of the drink for garnish.
