Drink of the Day: Vulgar Vulcan
I was saddened by the news that Leonard Nimoy, known to all of us as the original Spock in the Star Trek series, has passed. To remember him the best way I know how, I would like to revisit a cocktail that will be the perfect to sip on while reminiscing your favorite memories of the show that gave us flip phones and automatic sliding doors.
This is a very easy cocktail to make and is just as easy going down. Just remember to toast our favorite Vulcan as he passes on to the next level. Cheers Mr. Spock. You will live long and prosper in our memories.
Vulgar Vulcan
1 oz. Coconut Rum
1 oz. Amaretto
Orange Juice
Light Cream
Method: Build this in an old fashioned glass filled with ice by first pouring in the rum and amaretto to measure. Top off with equal parts of orange juice and cream. Stir and serve.
