The Filo Mint is January 29th Drink of the Day!!

January 29, 2014 | By | Add a Comment

One great thing about ending a meal is having one of those chewable chocolate/mint candies as a treat. This cocktail, if the ingredients are measured correctly, will give you that same flavor in your cocktail. Nothing like getting two birds with one stone - a dessert and cocktail in one old fashioned glass. No better reason to have this as today’s Drink of the Day!

One warning that you need to keep in mind when making this cocktail - you can’t overdo the peppermint schnapps in this or you will override the flavors of the other ingredients. When I mention complimenting, this is a truest of statements when using an ingredient like this. Getting too carried away takes away from the effect and the flavor, so be sure to keep it to measure. Especially in this instance.

A perfect dessert cocktail, the Filo Mint will be replacing the candy in your cabinet for sure. Take your time to enjoy every sip. Cheers!filo mint
