The Fiorenza is January 3rd Drink of the Day!!

A simple, yet tasty, drink that will give you a day off from having to strain, shake, and rim. If you are into rum and colas, this is something you should try out. Adding amaretto will give you a full flavored beverage that will make your taste buds dance for joy. And it will only take you seconds to put one together. Due to the amount of drink making I did the last few days for the holidays, I had to find something that was a no-brainer that would not let you down on the flavor end of things. Today is Friday and after having your share of hosting or being hosted, it’s time to take a break from all the preparation. Ah yes, let’s get right down do it, shall we? This one should do the trick. Cheers!

1 1/2 oz. Dark Rum

3/4 oz. Amaretto

Cola

Method: Build this drink in a highball glass filled with ice. Add the measured amounts of the first two ingredients. Top off with cola. Stir. Garnish with a half lemon wheel on the rim of the glass.
