The Fuzzy Pirate is February 16th Drink of the Day!!
I live a fine single malt scotch and maybe will drink a bourbon on the rocks on occasion. But, rum is my favorite ingredient in a fruit combination. A nice and refreshing citrus beverage goes well any time of year. If you are into tiki cocktails, rum is the ingredient that will give you many combinations. This Drink of the Day is yet another example of one of these.
If you have ever had a Fuzzy Navel or Hairy Navel using vodka as the base ingredient, you can change it up a bit by replacing it with spiced rum. Aye, matey, this is one delicious beverage! Hope you enjoy!
Fuzzy Pirate
1 oz. Spiced Rum
1/2 oz. Peach Schnapps
Splash of Orange Curacao
Orange Juice
Method: Build this in a highball glass with ice by first adding the first three ingredients to measure. Top off with orange juice. Stir and serve.
