Drink of the Day: The Harvest Nectar
Rum cocktails are in season, with the temperatures rising, the patios opening, and the pools looking good for that afternoon swim. Here’s a great citrus cocktail that will fit right in with all of these elements in play.
Using three tropical fruit juices to go along with the light rum, this is as refreshing as they come. This is perfect for those of you who do not want the taste of liquor in their beverage. The juices hide it nicely. Enjoy this summertime beverage!
1 1/2 oz. Light Rum
Orange Juice
Cranberry Juice
Pineapple Juice
Method: Build this in a pint glass filled with ice by first pouring in the rum to measure. Top off by adding equal parts of all three fruit juices. Garnish with a half-wheel of lime on the rim of the glass.
